Buffetti and La Fabbrica del Nulla will be taking to the stage at the Teatro dell’Antella with ‘E se l’onda è il mare’

Massimo Buffetti and La Fabbrica del Nulla return to the stage to present their new album: E se l’onda è il mare.
The work explores the unity between the individual and the universe, where music becomes an experience of reflection and profound resonance. The concert will be previewed on Friday 16th January 2026 at 9 p.m. at the Teatro Comunale in Antella.

Consisting of Massimo Buffetti (piano and composition), Stefano Agostini (flute), Carlo Failli (clarinet), Luca Guidi (guitar) and Rob Nigro (sound), the group confirms its distinctive style: a language in which contemporary classical music intertwines with world music, jazz, minimalism and improvisation. This creates an experience that becomes action, vibration and thought in motion.

The concert on Friday 16th January will be an immersive experience of music and thought. The Fabbrica del Nulla ensemble has chosen to combine sound and words, entrusting director and actor Riccardo Massai with interpreting texts and quotations evoking various voices and imaginations. These include works by Anatolij Bukreev, Linda Wylie, Anna Maria Ortese, Giorgio Gaber, Vittorio Marchi, Emily Dickinson and Fëdor Dostoevskij. The concert will be a shared journey of listening and reflection.
If inert matter is indeed alive, as science now affirms, and if every particle contributes to a process of relationship and thought, then the relevance of the thoughts of every living being becomes even more evident. It is no coincidence that the relationship between the individual and the universe is a common theme in the work of thinkers, artists, philosophers, mountaineers, writers and musicians from different eras.
At a time when everything seems to be divided, E se l’onda è il mare reminds us that every sound, every breath and every heartbeat belongs to the same unity. It is a declaration of intent and an act of faith in music as the language of reality — a language capable of uniting matter and thought, science and spirit. Where words end, vibration continues. Perhaps in that vibration, we can recognise ourselves as one.
