‘Il Labirinto. Il Mito di Arianna e il Minotauro’ in Kristiansund Norway on 3 and 4 October

On 2 and 3 October, Il Labirinto. Il mito di Arianna e il Minotauro will be performed at Atlanten Ungdomskole (Dalaveien 25, 6511 Kristiansund) at 11 pm.
The Compagnia Opus Ballet takes part in the international festival In2It in Kristiansund. The choreography Il Labirinto – Il mito di Arianna e il Minotauro by Arianna Benedetti reinterprets the myth of the legendary creature half bull and half man.
Conceived as a space made entirely of mirrors, a symbol of a mental and spiritual journey to find oneself, the work is accompanied by Massimo Buffetti’s sweet and vibrant music and supported by a visual lighting design that immerses the spectator and the dancers themselves in their own labyrinth. The story is told through minimal dynamics, stimulating emotionality, interweaving and individual creativity, giving each character its own character. A non-random relationship with the music that stimulates the sensitivity of the performers with actions and reactions and images of freedom, if not improvisation; a dance shared with particular and multiple nuances of elegant gestures.
