Il Gabbiano 1 & 0 is inspired by the amusing and intense story from the famous short novel by Richard Bach: a best seller in many countries around the world in the 1970s, it has become a true cult for many. The tale of the seagull, who wished to learn to fly properly, to become himself and conquer his own freedom, still proves to be highly topical for the new generations.
1 & 0, represent two sides of the same coin, present in each of us. We would all like to be a number one and not a zero, but true balance is achieved when we manage to be both together (1 and 0 = 10 = I). That is, the harmonic synthesis resulting from knowing our brighter side and our darker side. 1 & 0 in this sense are the virtual interpreters who, in continuous dialogue with each other, help tell the story of The Jonathan Livingston Seagull and his journey towards learning to fly and conquering freedom.
